As you may know, we recently launched cross-chain services between ThunderCore and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) with ThunderCore Bridge. ThunderCore Bridge is a cross-chain technology that provides a simple and easy way for you to transfer your assets across different blockchains. It now supports Ethereum (ERC), BSC, and ThunderCore. Why did we launch such a service? Because we want to bring more value to you. With a much faster transaction speed and lower gas fees compared to Ethereum and BSC, ThunderCore is now interoperable between three chains, giving users more opportunities to earn income and access to more products and services. Our goal has always been to bring blockchain to the masses.

In this article you will learn:

  • How to deposit BNB and BUSD to your TT Wallet.
  • How to set up your other decentralized wallets to receive TT-BNB and TT-BUSD.

Depositing TT will be mentioned in another article.

Before you start, please note:

  • Do not directly transfer your BNB from your TT Wallet (TT-BNB) to your Binance wallet (or any other CeFi exchange wallets). The transactions may go through and show up on BSC Scan or ThunderCore Scan, but they will not show up in your exchange wallets as Binance does not support internal transactions. BUSD (TT-BUSD) transfer works fine.
  • If you would like to withdraw TT-BNB to your Binance wallet, please first withdraw your assets through the ThunderCore Bridge to a decentralized wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet and then withdraw them to your Binance wallet.
  • If you have withdrawn directly to your Binance wallet and the assets do not show up, please provide your transaction details on BSC Scan to Binance's support team here.
  • For further inquiries regarding cross-chain asset transfers, email support@thundercore.com.
  • Any wrong transfer may result in asset loss. Please be aware.

Scenario 1

Level of difficulty — Easy

You can deposit BNB and BUSD from your Binance wallet to your TT Wallet, but not the other way around for BNB. In this case, we will be depositing BNB from Binance wallet as an example:

Step 1: Log in to your Binance account and click on “Withdraw”.

Step 2: Select BNB from the drop-down list and enter your TT Wallet address.

Step 3: Select “Binance Smart Chain” as the transfer network.

Step 4: Answer 3 safety reminder questions if this is your first time selecting this option.

Step 5: Enter your desired withdraw amount and click “Submit”. Note: There is a 0.02 BNB deposit minimum to your TT Wallet.

Step 6: Finish entering your verification code and click “Submit”. The transaction is now complete. It may take a few seconds up to a few minutes for your assets to be deposited in your TT Wallet.

Step 7: Go to your TT Wallet and click the refresh button to check your new balance.

Scenario 2

Level of difficulty — Easy (slightly harder than scenario 1)

Besides your Binance wallet, you can deposit your BNB and BUSD from your decentralized wallet (such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet) to your TT Wallet. We will use BNB for this scenario as an example. Suppose you have some BNB and BUSD (BEP20-BNB and BEP20-BUSD on BSC) in your MetaMask wallet and you want to transfer them to your TT Wallet:

Step 1: Open your MetaMask wallet and make sure it’s connected to the BSC Mainnet.

Step 2: Select your BNB (BEP20-BNB) balance and click “Send”.

Step 3: Enter your TT Wallet address for TT-BNB.

You can find the address by selecting the TT-BNB balance in your TT Wallet and click on “Receive”.

Step 4: Enter the desired amount you want to deposit to your TT Wallet then click “Next”. Make sure you leave enough BEP20-BNB in your MetaMask for gas fees. Remember to also change your gas price to 10–15. You will need to wait for a few blocks for your transaction to be completed.

Step 5: Go to your TT Wallet and click the refresh button to check your new balance. The BEP20-BNB that you deposited will reflect on the TT-BNB balance.

Important:

  • We have updated TT Wallet’s UI. Make sure you are using the latest version 2.5.0 when depositing assets.
  • Make sure the BEP20-BNB and BEP20-BUSD amounts you are depositing meet the minimum requirement. For BEP20-BNB, the minimum deposit amount is 0.01. For BEP20-BUSD, the minimum deposit amount is 0. Visit our support center for more information on BEP20 assets and their deposit/withdrawal limits on ThunderCore.
  • If by any chance you deposited less than 0.01 BEP20-BNB, the transaction will still go through and show up on BSC Scan, but it will not show up on TT Wallet’s transaction details. Please deposit an additional amount where your total deposited amount reaches 0.01 for it to reflect in your TT Wallet.

Scenario 3

Level of difficulty — Intermediate

You can also use ThunderCore Bridge along with your decentralized wallet (e.g. MetaMask or Trust Wallet) to deposit assets to your TT Wallet (or other wallets that support TT). In this case, BNB will be used as an example:

Step 1: Visit ThunderCore Bridge and connect your MetaMask wallet to the BSC Mainnet.

Step 2: Select the “BNB > TT-BNB” option.

Step 3: Enter your desired transfer amount of BEP20-BNB and the TT-BNB address from your TT Wallet. Then click “Transfer” (your MetaMask wallet address that’s connected to the ThunderCore Mainnet works too. Visit here for instructions on connecting your MetaMask wallet to the ThunderCore Mainnet).

Step 4: A confirmation page will pop up. Verify the address then click “Continue”. Make sure you have enough BNB in your wallet for gas fees. Remember to also change your gas price to 10–15. Your transaction will be completed in a few seconds.

Step 5: Go to your TT-supported wallet (e.g. TT Wallet) to check your new balance. The BEP20-BNB that you deposited will reflect on the TT-BNB balance.

Adding TT-BNB and TT-BUSD to your MetaMask wallet

In order for you to fully utilize your MetaMask wallet for these types of transfers, you will need to add TT-BNB and TT-BUSD tokens to your wallet. If you already have them, you can skip this section.

Step 1: Open your MetaMask wallet and connect to the ThunderCore Mainnet. Scroll down until you see the “Add Token” button. Click on it.

Step 2: Enter the respective token contract addresses. MetaMask should fill in the “Token Symbol” and the “Decimals of Precision” automatically. Once they are filled out, click “Next”.

Token addresses for ThunderCore Mainnet (These addresses are only used when you want to add tokens to your MetaMask. Please don’t transfer any of your digital assets to these address because you will lose them permanently):

  • TT-BNB: 0x8EF1A1E0671Aa44852f4d87105eF482470bB3e69
  • TT-BUSD: 0xBEB0131D95AC3F03fd15894D0aDE5DBf7451d171

Step 3: Click the “Add Tokens” button to confirm. You are good to go! You will see the newly added tokens listed on your MetaMask wallet.
